Watch this show! It's a bit of a throwback to E.T. Meets Stand By Me.. But it's fantastically acted, staged and written.. And I got to say, it's refreshing to watch a show that isn't trying to hard to be risqué.. You could watch with the whole family, but, it's better than any family show. It has the quality of a HBO show, but it's as enjoyable as Spielberg in his prime.

Watch it! It's a Netflix original, which may be a problem for some.. But find and way, and bloody watch it.

Absolutely one of the best shows I've seen in a while. Child actors are hard to find to do an effective job in a drama or thriller. I can't complain about any of their performances. Winona Ryder and the guy that played Hopper were great too.I gush about it to my friends and family and every single one has loved it.

The success pretty much guarantees another season. But I hope they go the route of True Detective and do an entire new plot and cast. Don't know where they'd go with the current crop.

I would compare it more to that JJ Abrams film Super8 which I also like.

Netflix has some great shows:
Power
House Of Cards
Spotless
Bloodline
Orange Is The New Black
Narchos
etc etc

I usually have about 20 Netflix shows on rotation at any one time

Welcome back online, Southie, KK has missed your input. Aussie Floyd tickets arrived for Brum, so all done and dusted. Cheers.

I watched the whole of season 1 in three sittings, OUTSTANDING stuff.Stand By Me meets early X-files meets The Shining meets A Nightmare on Elm Street all mixed into a joyful mix of top acting, 80's music and double denim

Many pundits had mediocre review of season 2. I thought it was brilliant again, outside of a side story. But the directors took a risk with that side story. Season 3 set up nicely too.
