Did anyone watch this on Sky Atlantic the other night, I think its being repeated throughout the week? Yet another great show from HBO. If you have not seen it yet and you have Sky I advise watching this, as it was very enjoyable, a great 1st episode!!

Is there lots of sex, blood and keeping it in the family? I've read the first 3 books and I don't know how well they can turn the first one (game of thrones) into a tv series that will work. How have they pulled off the dwarf, he is supposed to be hideously deformed.

Why would you want to see a hideously deformed dwarf being pulled off?

Theres perverted and then theres just this.

His deformity is his dwarfism in this case.. for a little fella, he is quite the looker.

I haven't read the books.. but its a pretty perverse show, so I think they have done a decent effort of keeping it real to the book. HBO can do whatever they want, don't have to censor because it is a premium pay channel. Not sure if its the same rules for showing HBO shows in the UK.

Back in the day I used to go to Manila quite a lot ( can't think why, must have been the food? )

There was a bar in town called the " Hobbit House". All the staff were little folk, and a number of them had velcro strips across their backs.

Well, on the one wall there was a huge velcro target, you can guess the rest.....................

was very upset by the bit where bean had to kill the pet wolf!
Really brought back my worst moment ever!
Enjoying the show though, the goodies are very good and the baddies are very bad
proper epic stuff!

Ok got to episode 5 got episode 6 on the Sky box, but it says it's episode 8 tomorrow. Now the program is on series link, how did I miss one? or is it a mistake on the guide?

Not sure of exact episode numbers, last week is where the King died after being injured on a hunt and left the note with Sean the Sheff Utd fan and the Queen (bitch) proclaimed her son (who is not the kings and I really want to slap) to be the new king.

I hope that helps.

I thought Broadwalk Empire was grest but this is even better, I will be gutted next week as its the last episode of this series (or season if your American).

SPOLIER ALERT ICELANDIC
Yes Game of Thrones is more enjoyable than Boardwalk Empire IMO too. Love it. I have read the books of Game of Thrones, and lets just say the suprises don't end with Ned..

I am slightly awkward about the casting for the series.. all the best actors seem to be playing the doomed characters.

Midget actors usually bother me, but the guy who plays the Imp is fantastic.
