Only 10 days away now, so let's be having your tips, gossip etc and pass them on amongst us all and see if we can unload the bookies satchels and have ourselves a profitable four days.. 8)

We could run a daily competition to see who can do the best on a Lucky 15 and also a Placepot bet.

Let's be having you.......( apologies to Delia..)..

Skybet - money back as a free bet if your horse loses - 1st race, every day. Cor say fairer than that.

Paddy Power is going to offer Money Back in EVERY race, EVERY day at the Cheltenham Festival if your horse finishes second. Applies to win bets only, not each way bets. Yow cor beat that......

I seem to remember we ran the best tipster competition last year, mm, now let me think who won it............

I have two ante post bets already, The New One in the Champion Hurdle and Cue Card in the Gold Cup, E/W. I have a big E/W on Valseur Lido too in the GC.

The greatest show on turf, cor wait.

Are you attending on the Tuesday as usual, Rozza, or going for more days..??

Definitely agree with Cue Card in the Gold Cup but keep an eye on Smad Place too, each way.

Horses who won or ran well on Trials Day at the end of January are also well worth noting:

Winners that day:

Kings Odyssey
Smad Place
Annacotty
Yanworth
Thistlecrack
Solstice Star.

Placed that day:

Waldorf Salad
Theatre Guide
Tenor Nivernais
Shantou Village
Cheltenian.

Dave, definite Tuesday, probably Thursday, definite on the piss Wednesday and Friday

How about a comp.
£10 to bet on each day. Can form any bet from single to acca to a sixpenny Duke O' Windsor, but must not exceed £10.
All entries must be posted by 1pm on the day of the race.
Non runner no bet.
No rule 4 or treble odds apply, all winners, or E/W odds from S/P.
In the event of a tie rozza wins.

seems fair to me old pal.

Got me tickets for Aintree on the Thursday too, so here we go!!

The weekend is upon us, time to study all the trends, stats etc for a fantastic week of the best racing around anywhere. Looks like the weather will be dry so a lot of well backed favourites should romp home, Willie Mullins trained ones for certain. Bring it on.

See the first reply in the thread

Most bookies have some good free bet offers. Bill Hill has one if all the Mullins nags win. Unibet have got got a tenner back if your horse loses. Not sure what Paddy has going, nor Coral, as they've binned me off.

You can try the most popular acca today with the four Willie Mullins horses with Ruby Walsh riding:

1-30: Min
2-10: Douvan
3-30: Annie Power
4-10: Vroum Vroum Mag.

If those four all win, the bookies will suffer a massive financial thrashing..

I got 0-34p back on Tombstone finishing fourth, otherwise a blank starting day for me. Out of the Placepot and Quadpot in Leg 3 too.

So on to Wednesday, a patent for me today:

2-50: Rock the Kasbah @12-1
3-30: Special Tiara @ 16-1
4-10: Bless the Wings @ 33-1.

14 bets art 0-70p = £9.80.

Remaining 20p is for Ken to keep... 8)

Place was rammed yesterday, it was colder than charity too.I had a £1 Yankee on the Mullins quads and went against my better judgement by scrubbing Altior out and putting Min in .

I lumped on Min and ignored Annie, what a twat.

Anyroad, my on board winnings stand at £4.50 so far, that figure is based on quarter odds?

Today I am just betting in the televised races and am having a 50p win Yankee on Yanworth,More of that, Un Desceaux and Jossies Orders.
And a £2.75 e/w on Politologue in the 2.50.

Looked rammed but plenty of leg room in my living room and warm too
Yep use 1/4 odds for all bets it's simpler.
Hey i know people keep telling me to keep the change and giving me 20p but giving yourself an extra £1 now that is rude

The committee will have to sit in judgement of this serious breach of bet limit stakes. Yellow card, one day suspension or given a Wolves season ticket for next season..???

Sorry, the committee has met and you will be forced to watch every home game next season sat next to Moxey. Be more careful tomorrow and good luck.

Some chap at Cheltenham today, was interviewed, having won over 200 large, on a 7 horse acca with BetDaq. He no longer has a mortgage.

Not being a punter, on Day 1, I Cleared about £30 matching two free bets from Unibet and Skybet.

Day 2, and I put my £25 free loser Skybet, on Yorkhill, in the first. Ton back. Cracking race, and having seen some Cheltenham races, I may have to get down there, one day.
