Ar, no probs, I will have a few thoughts about it and see what I can come up with, other thoughts / opinions from others on here are also most welcome. Will try and remember who won it last year...

Rozza, here is a copied post you made on the thread at the end of the last Festival:

Todays Final day blowout is:

£5 win Cue Card
£5 win Uknowhatimeanharry.

End of another great Festivals racing, it is exceptionally thrilling and also fun, even when you lose a few pennies, like I generally do.. 8)

Dave, the £5 win on Mr Bruno's hoss  has sealed the tipping medal i believe. The overall winner of the competition though is of course,...... Embers followed by knocker, so well done to those runners.

weighed in, weighed in

(sound of a klaxon in the background)

Kinell, I will be having a few bob on them two again this year!!

I was taking the piss about embers and knockers involvement if I am not mistaken. How about picking four horses per day in any combination as long as you do not exceed £10?

My tuppeny haypenny Duke of Windsor will come in handy again.

OK, let's make it any combo of bet as long as it is no more than £10 per day. So, a lucky 15, yankee, patent, double, treble etc. I will also put up my Placepot tips daily, there are some big payouts on the Placepots when the odd heavily-backed favourites go unplaced. worth a £1 or £2 bet daily for sure.

In January I had a No Runner No Bet Lucky 15 on Totesport for four races on different days:

Tuesday: 15-30: Champion Hurdle: Yanworth @ 4-1

Wednesday at 15-30: Champion Chase: Uxizandre @ 16-1

Thursday at 15-30: Stayers Hurdle: Cole Harden @ 12-1

Friday at 15-30: Gold Cup: Don Poli @ 20-1.

10p each way Lucky 15 = £3-00......Win returns ( all win) : £3889.20. Place returns ( all placed): £62.90.

Sky bet have a brilliant promotion.
The first race every day of the festival you can bet anything up to £20(so rozza you can have a shilling on if you like)and if the horse loses you get the money back as a free bet.

Ken is right, this is a no brainer, and a great way to start the day, especially if your bet comes in.

For all you punters who, unlike Owd Rozza, am tech savvy, I suggest you peruse this site, to see all the other offers, erm, on offer: http://www.latestbettingoffers.co.uk/events/cheltenham-festival/

Good luck!

Blimey, Rozza and Ken up and out early doors. All bets for tips will be at SP's, as it is impossible to take in claims of ante bet and early prices that are longer than the SP's. The Paddy Power website calculator will be utilised for these purposes.

My daily dabble today: lucky 15: 30 bets @ 30p = £9.00

13-30: River Wylde
14-50: Noble Endeavour
15-30: Petit Mouchoir
16-50: Beware the Bear.

And £1 win on: 17-30: Mixboy.

Good luck and good fun to all "equine investors"......

Doe know what happened yesterday with my post but here go's again. Proper racing day today for me without six of the seven races being unfathomable as to who CAN win as opposed to who WILL win.

My tips today are

3.30 Uknowhatimeanharry
4.50 Lets Dance

£10 win double.

I went on Tuesday and got mullered by the bookies as have tens of thousands of punters this week. I pick my hosses prior to the start of the day and make a general rule NOT to change my selection. I went for a piss just before the Champion Hurdle started with the intention of sticking £25 on Buveur D'air once the drips had stopped. I walked out the bog and met an old mate that I hadn't seen for ten years. He told me a lurid tale about how he had got very favourable odds and very tangible intelligence about how Moon Racer will piss the CH and how much him and his in the know chums were lumping on.
You guessed it, I changed my mind and put my 25 notes on Moon Racer and ignored Buveur. As you know, Buveur pissed it at 5/1 and Moon Racer is still running as of ten minutes agoo.

Morale of the tale: If you change your choice and win you are a tactical genius and master of deceit, if you change your choice and lose, yam a c unt.
