A week today and the madness, mayhem, thrills and spills begins. It features the drunken, hard luck stories of Rozza and myself, two old, battle hardened Festival veterans. I propose we have the usual tipping competition for the four days.

For every race over the four days, Tuesday to Friday, I suggest a tipping reward of:

Winner: 10 points.
Second: 5 points.
Third: 2 points.
Fourth: 1 point. ( 4th place when 16 or more runners in a handicap.)

Also, Put in your daily bet type, Lucky15, Lucky 31, Lucky63, Yankee, Patent etc and see who does the best over the four days.

Other suggestions most welcome. Bring it on...!!!

Mixed day yesterday, great roar as usual from a massive crowd on the first race. Apples Jade became this years Annie Power and saved the bookies getting dry bummed. I lumped on Buveur and Footpad and had a tenner on Rathvinden plus an E/W treble in my L15 which provided me with a free day and a bit to spare.

Today.......

£2.50 Win Double on Samcro and Altior

25p E/W L15
2.50 As you were
4.10 Bless the wings ( Although I know someone who has had £300 E/W on Jossies Orders )
4.50 Lisp
5.30 Acey Milan.

Good Luck.

Won the placepot again yesterday, picked up £77 for 9 placed horse from eleven selected over the six races, so a good day. Now for the last leap for Gold Cup day:

Lucky 15, 30p each way.

14-10 :Remiluc
14-50 :Dortmund Park
16-10: On the Fringe
17-30: Rock the World.

Last quid, 50p each way on: Kilbricken Storm in the 14-50.

Good Luck. Final table for the two finalists will be published tomorrow when I am sober.

My mate Iain, a staunch Wolves fan here in Swindon, did a Lucky63 yesterday for £12-60. Five horses won and he picked up a monster amount of £23,892. Well done that man..!!!!
