Well fuck me, there's a surprise.

I believe they deemed it "Not in the public interests" which is an evidential threshold used thousands of times a day by the CPS. They are quite correct in this instance and in the hundreds of similar incidents occuring across the country regarding accidents involving elderly drivers.

The use of a prosecution is usually to punish and prevent. In this case HRH has publicly apologised and voluntarily given up his licence which prevents him from driving. Any other 97 year old driver would have received exactly the same decision based on those facts and if no allegation of recklessness or fatal injury occurred.

What the CPS fail to cater for is the petty, ill informed, narrow minded bile spouted by anti royalists who know fuck all about a lot of things.

God save the Queen.

Can we close this thread now ? Definitive answer given...

If Phil the greek wishes to drive on public roads will he do so?

I anticipate he will do what he wants and wouldn't hesitate to use the public highway.

Abbott was one of the tens of thousands of disappointed Americans and brain dead Brits, turned away from Will Smith's house.

Joey Wessex might lead to bullying and self harm, ADHD, Bi-Polar, by self harm I mean having all his teeth smashed in and brilliant white Dick Emery vicar ones put in.

Poor bastard, he has a rough life ahead of him.

I've read the book and it certainly rang a few bells with incidents I knew of when I was working for the NHS. Something that doesn't always come across though with this type of thing is that some doctors are bastards too and couldn't give a toss about their patients.

Prince Andrew implicated in Jeffrey Epstein case just as accused financier is found dead.

Funny that.

Piece of shit retires.

Prince Andrew announced his retirement today from public life after a long period of severe personal stress.
In a statement, his Royal Highness added he is ‘following advice’ from his doctor.
There was no comment from Buckingham Palace

I LET THE SIDE DOWN.

Basically through the centuries we have shagged whoever we like whenever we like and have never been accountable to anyone.

My great grandfather as an example fathered more little bastards than they have footballers at Wolverhampton Wanderers,

You have no wish to comment at the absolute masters of parasites it seems.

Strange this Tories really having a go at people at the bottom who struggle through life while turning a blind eye to the idle wasters at the top.

I am a Royalst. I think the current problems are typical of any family, and it amazes me that people who call them all the names under the sun, like Abbott, can't keep her own house in order and yet try to take the holier than thou position any time the Windsor name is mentioned.

I totally agree the tax payer in this day and age should not pay for their upkeep. I think they should just be allowed to charge market rent for their land and properties. Let's see who's better off then.

Im not sure they actually own their properties..unless its Meghans house you are talking about?

If they dont want to be part of the royal family and make their own way then thats fair enough...but they would get nothing from the tax payer at all and would no longer be able to benefit from monies previously provided to them by virtue of his birth.

The irony is of course he would still be making money by virtue of his birth....but he would have to spend that on any aervices he would be required to use to protect his family...because of his birth.

He cant have his cake and eat it...but im sure he will try..I personally dont like either of them and couldnt care less what they do..
.but I am dead against any of my money being used to subsidise the whinging pair.

Sorry for the confusion, KK was knocking the whole family, I meant royalty in general

Buildings and land usually belong to the Royal Family until they need money spent on it.

From fires to refurbs they take the taxpayer for mugs.

Oh - the politics of envy knows no bounds!

Perhaps we should have a republic? But then do we have a model like:

USA - and have a President who gets elected; yep that'll work nicely (Trump mark 2)
France - a President and a PM who constantly row and argue and get nothing done; yep, that'll work too
Ireland - a PM and a 'figurehead' President - with perhaps Ant 'n' Dec, or David Attenborough, or David Beckham, or Stormy.... yep - those work too!

Yeh - let's get rid of the monarchy (that has given us 3 centuries of stability) and have elected demagogues. I'll be a candidate. Anyone fancy being my campaign manager?

I've recently been made redundant (I blame Brexit ...oh hang on....) so I'm available what the pay and conditions offered?

Haven't drawn up the job description yet, but it will certainly involve being my chauffeur, batman, butler, confidante, barman, bodyguard and hairdresser. I expect to pay just under the minimum wage, and for the appointee to simply be grateful for having a media profile which will enable them to sell scurrilous stories about me - real and fictitious - for huge amounts of money in the future.

I'l publish the full terms & conditions in due course.

Politics of envy nope.
Politics of whats right and wrong yes.

I believe ALL folk are born equal, then ALL folk should be given equal opportunity and you then create meritocracy.
OK, that's pie in the sky, but the sooner you remove these class barriers to equality the better the social system.

The general public have no right of access to Personal Protection officers for very good reasons. Perhaps the NY media would like to comment on the spiriting out of the country of an American wife with no legal exemption /status after killing a British boy?
