Seemed appropriate to have Cyrille in an Albion shirt, the club where he truly made his name. Great bloke.

The definition of power and pace on the pitch, and a gentleman off it.

Both wonderful pictures of a wonderful icon, pioneer, and man.

Very rare you can post a player in an Albion shirt on a Wolves forum but somehow Cyrille represented the whole of West Midlands football.

Warnock’s post match interview was disgusting, no remorse and a final shot of “He's in England int he, what does he expect.”

Good argument for the FA to take his coaching badges off him!

Wanker!

Warnock has since back-tracked having seen the tackle played back, and said he doesn't condone such tackles.

Thing is, this Bennett twat then got sent off for another bad challenge, but VAR would have prevented that, and another possible serious injury.

Given the treatment dished out to Jota this season, the FA need to review footage and take retrospective action.

Kevin Doyle's ankle cut

Image

The former Wolves striker suffered this ghastly injury to his right ankle whilst on international duty for the Republic of Ireland against Switzerland.

His bright display was cut short after just 27 minutes. The injury came about after a tackle by Swiss defender Timm Klose.

He had to undergo surgery and was out for some time before returning to his club, the Colorado Rapids.

Edwald Linen's Thigh Cut

Image

The former Germany midfielder - who later went on to become a manager - suffered a serious injury whilst playing for Arminia Bielefeld in 1981.

The horrific incident came about as a result of a studs up challenge by a Werder Bremen player.

Linen suffered a cut so deep in his right thigh, his muscles and tendons (not to mention his thigh bone) were clearly visible to the naked eye.

I think the bloke should be working on a new head, then when it looks like Jack should get down there in the middle of the night and do a replacement job.

He might be working on a sculptor of Noddy Holder at the moment, someone give him a photo of the Wetherspoons owner Tim Martin. That should do it.

Absolutely no need for a statute as the man himself would have agreed. Now on top of it being unnecessary, it's also embarrassing to see the poor likeness.

There wasn't even any need for the stand to be renamed after him- something he specifically said he didn't want. Morgan & Moxey with their "we understand the fans" schtick as ever totally missed the mark.

The training ground was a perfectly adequate tribute to a man who was a diehard fan and invested a lot of money but ultimately was just owner for 16 years of our existence in which he sat in the 2nd Division (bar one relegation season) and the club had already been saved from going under and moved up 2 divisions before he bought us.

At least we won't be having any statues commissioned for those two arse holes.
