Following BREXIT, anything could happen in this election, if folk decide to turn out, and vote in protest.

I wonder what odds are of the Tories having 150 more seats than Labour?

I see Theresa May is running scared of any television debates because without prepared scripts she would be eaten alive by Jeremy Corbyn.

They should empty chair the Tory.

They will "empty chair" her...but it will make no difference, and she knows it.

The last debates had little or no effect, they are just Americanised TV fillers, with no impact.

Yep, she would lose the debates because if the truth got out it would kill her.

Every Tory policy is falling apart but the media propaganda keeps the country firmly right wing.

The Tories couldn't win on policy or the truth.

Ed the duck did Ok, at times, in the last round of TV debates, but where is he now?
..he would struggle to get a job on Cbeebies

Both are absolutely useless orators in their own way so the debates would be turn-off TV.

As noted though, these have never had any impact in British politics, just a very minor bump in the ratings for the broadcaster. Elections in the UK are won or lost through the daily propaganda and spin that the party machines spew out into the media every day.

If May debated with Corbyn he might point out that the Tories have almost TRIPLED UK debt while claiming they were paying it down.

He might, and anyone who believes they have the skills to be PM surely would... but given his useless performance standards in front of a microphone, he probably wouldn't. What a sad state of affairs British politics is.

Just re-run the "brexit" debates and campaign once more, little in the way of logic, strong debating or responsible leadership shown by anyone involved.

A nice happy 7 weeks of easy material for the media though at least... and much easier on the brains of most than the complexities that the EU negotiations will revolve around.

Jezza and Di must be over the moon. They finally have the chance to show the nation a united Labour Party ready to take the reigns of our great nation and lead us to a socialist utopia. ......
Or not

They've forgotten that the results of the East German elections weren't based on an actual counting of the votes and the approval of the "electorate". An easy mistake to make when you've been locked in the broom cupboard by your sociology students since 1981 and only just stumbled out into the real world once again...

The worry for Ms May is the raise of the Lib Dems in the aptly named "Flushing".

Those Cornish tree huggers want to lead us back to union with their Basque brethren. They must be making the poor woman quake with fear, as they are the only viable opposition.

Sad, sad, sad.

I'm not sure the Lib Dems can be described as "viable" with a political dwarf like Tim Fallon as leader. Poor old Charlie Kennedy must be swiveling in his grave.

Viable, purely as although he's a complete Dick, Fallon is vaguely alive and may get more than 10 votes in his constituency . Now Jezza.....well

Yep it could be construed as a cynical attempt to get the public to ignore their deficiencies , and vote on Brexit only.

Shamelessly I have to say ...thats what I will doing- although in my defence Labour and Lib Dems are non starters for me.

With the process for leaving the EU up and running, only one choice offers half a chance of success in the real world, and it's not tree hugging transgenders or looney seventies leftovers

You look too far into it Mr Back. There is a simple agenda here. Corbyn will not and cannot win an election with the disparate bunch of pseudo socialist fuckwits that he has under him, whilst collectively being driven by the political machinations of the big union Marxist leaders who fund and drive him.

You need to look to the alternative, or abstain, whichever hurts the less.

What I do expect is for the Tories to throw in the bait and the white van man to gobble it up.

I think they will pitch a total transformation in immigration policy and say, " We will reduce the number of immigrants to the tens of thousands "

I think Labour will pitch continued access to the single market and fully funded front line services.

Then with media backing the Tories will slur Jeremy Corbyn, so Labour have to wait for a further turn of events during this seven week process.

What do you hope for with Brexit, what is a good deal?

Yeah. I just don't want to be told the same opposing things ad infinitum every day by people whose views will not change as mine won't. It just seems a long time to put up with it.

No such thing as TV debates. They are simply schoolyard bulling sessions put on for the inane to pick a side based on makeup or the best sarcastic comment about in in-law. BBC presenters who wear their political medals on their rather tawdry sleeves,, line up their preferred candidates for that "killer jibe" and cut off any actual political debate if it isn't, in their opinion, "good telly". It is about time they were told to clean their act up or &%$@%&* off.

Thats complete bollocks and you know it, fuck me spin it because May would be found out in front of a massive audience.
She's a bit dim without cue cards and prepared soundbites but they dont want the general public to know the truth about this woman.

Corbyn would absolutely slaughter her when the discussion moved to front line services because each and every Tory policy has been a complete failure.
