According to KJ in today`s post match interview on WM, he is not expecting anything more in the transfer window "unless the phone rings".

Ha! Ha! Jiz gave us Afobe Acrobat, so we should be bloody well grateful.

All hail Uncle Jez!

Only problem is that KJ can't play Afobe and Dicko and still have strength in midfield.

If KJ still has the same problem come August, then it's time for Morgan to explain himself.

No doubt we need strengthening, and by the summer we will have quite a lot off the wage bill, but against that the parachute money will have ended, so we will see our ambition.

We have bought a lot in at U-21 level and below, but I do think we need a bit more at senior level.

We still have one more year of parachute money, unless we are promoted

No excuses then, providing the Bomb Squad has been fully defused.

According to Alan Nixon of a daily newspaper, Graham Dorrans is on about 8k a week more than the best-paid player at Burnley. Random stat, but it puts Burnley and WBA wages in perspective, if he is right.

Aren't most of ours on or around £8K now?! Mind you, just imagine being on £8K a week for a couple of years...

I don't know, but it turns out Burnley were rumoured to be trying to sign Dorrans (why would WBA sell though?) hence Nixon's comment. The £8k figure is how much more Dorrans is getting than the Burnley players.

West Ham have a defender injury crisis, I'm reading. Please let them take Johners.

FFP is going to hit hard this window I think. A few journalists have mentioned that we shouldn't expect much to happen across any division. I'm sure we'll get 1 or 2 big signings happen though.

Wolves seem to have spent their lot on Afobe.

On that subject, how have Bournemouth funded their promotion bid? Their ground is basically six phoneboxes and an upturned skip. Rumoured to have bid £5 million for Demarai Gray of Brum.

They have a Russian billionaire owner who I guess is doing the financing. They apparently lost £8m last year and I'd imagine it'd be a lot more this. Gambling that they'll get promoted before that becomes an issue though. Seemed to work for QPR!

Cardiff City are closing in on the signing of striker Eoin Doyle from Chesterfield

@FBL72

Decent player, he seems to be.

Linked with dorrans on Facebook.

I'd say he's exactly what we need.

Can't see it happening though unfortunately.

Paterson is the only one we are admitting to according to the E&S: http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2015/02/02/kenny-jackett-no-signings-expected-before-transfer-deadline/

Not some sort of swap deal with Sako by any chance?

Grealish rumours surfacing again. Apparently a loan to Forest fell through and now we are back in the hunt. This from Tim Nash, but he says it's just suggestions at the moment.

Wigan trying to sign Leon is another rumour. How do you play that? If we could get a few quid back I would be tempted.

But I still think on evidence this year, he is ONLY one besides Dicko and Afobe who is worth playing down the middle. McAlinden not up to it, nor the other youths. VLP ain't the answer, and Jacobs has been frozen out. Henry says he'd have a go, but one goal doesn't make a summer....

It don't cost much to keep, but a dodgy Dicko hamstring, and a nasty kick for Afobe, and we're out of any conceivable race for the Prem. I think - for the meagre cost - I'd keep him till summer.

We have to be patient. Hopefully, by the time I'm collecting my pension, Wolves will be like an Everton.
