In Europe this week many clubs left out their number one striker, could be some rich pickings in the next transfer window.
How much for Aubameyang?
40 Million, 50 million, 60 million?

The thing with Dortmund is that it is the system not the players alone.
Pretty much none of their star attackers have had any real success when they've left Dortmund (Gotze bombed at Bayern, Sahin did nothing at either Real or Liverpool, Kagawa a peripheral figure at Utd, Mkhitaryan already vanished, etc).
They don't really have any conventional strikers, just a system that sets a group of talented attacking midfielders free to run riot. You see Klopp doing likewise at Liverpool now, as Sturridge is phased out and the midfielders become the primary goal threat.

Kagawa was the one that surprised me I thought he would be a major talent at United. I wouldn't be surprised if he joins Liverpool some time during the next couple of transfer windows.

Two for Kagawa, three for Reus, neither a striker, one a wide man the other a midfielder.

Thought Gladbach were very good against City last night, very impressive controlled speed on the ball.
The sending off turned the game, thats when I turned it off.
I hate those games that are set up perfectly then get reduced because of a sending off.
I walk way then my interest goes from a 9 to a 2.
Watched Leipzig at Leverkusen last Friday, very fortunate, the game changed on a penalty miss.

Rennes Paul Georges Ntep is reportedly close to completing a move to Wolfsburg to replace Julian Draxler after his PSG move.
Good player I think he will do better in Germany than Draxler will do in France.

Players you can buy for between 5 to 10 million, quite young who offer a lot, you can also see development in them so can sell at a profit.

Not a bad call, Lars Stindl hat trick wins it 4-3 on aggregate for Gladbach..!!! That after being 3-0 down on aggregate after 43 mins on the night. Remarkable. Man Utd next please...

Matchup with fellow German club Schalke. At first I thought the ties looked tame, but after thinking about it, I think it looks good. Two matchups between clubs within the same countries. Several matchups with countries that border/very close to one another (Lyon-Roma, Olympiacos-Besiktas, Copenhagen-Ajax). Should make for solid away support in those matches. My picks in bold Celta Vigo - Krasnodar APOEL - AnderlechtSchalke - MonchengladbachLyon - RomaRostov - ManUOlympiacos - BesiktasGent - Genk Copenhagen-Ajax

Mönchengaldbach sign West Ham's Reece Oxford on a one year loan. Interesting signing, he will come on for playing in the Bundesliga rather than West Ham's reserves or academy teams but it will be hard for him until he hopefully adjusts to a far different style of play than he is normally used to.

If you get the chance watch the clip of the Mainz keeper against Gladbach, quite bizarre.

Watching Mesut Özil playing for Germany its easy to see how his talents could go to waste at the wrong club.
For his national side or for a club like Man City he would find perfect partners, at other clubs its a bit of a struggle.
I could actually see him being a success at Barcelona, while a huge mistake for Man Utd.
