Bad performance today crowned by a shocking miss from Jota.
The starting line-up needs to change now. Costa just doesn't offer anything and Bonatini is just exhausted, no surprise after playing in a desert league. We can't just wait for an hour of a match to bring on Cavaleiro every week and hope he can create something in the last 30.

14 games unbeaten.
Another clean sheet.
It isn't that bad.

Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk I saw 30 mins of the match on Facebook and was impressed by our passing, application, ball control and movement. Pity the two goals were ruled offside - perhaps that was down to lack of concentration by Costa. Pity about hitting the bar and pity by the 2 yard miss by Jota who put it over the bar but he had to stretch full length and it was sod's law that it went over rather than in. An away draw isn't that bad.

caribbean wolf wrote: Too many wolves fans counting their chickens before they hatch There's been a lot of that lately but the team remain grounded and focused and that's what really matters. Onward and upward, which was a lot like Jota's miss.

Ball in the net twice but called offside, one of which was marginal. Smashed the crossbar. Missed a sitter from one yard out. Only one team looked like winning. Bad performance - No. A bit below our incredibly high standards - perhaps. Still 12 points in front of Cardiff. Agree that we should freshen up the starting line-up though for the Forest match.

Nice to hear the grounded comments. I ain't gonna venture on other sites as I don't want to read the "we woz rubbish" and "Bonatini out - not scored for yonks" drivel that one knows will be floating like giant turds on some websites....
Not great pitch. Barnsley worked socks off. A couple of unlucky breaks. Hey - we drew away with a clean sheet. Not many years ago we'd have been MORE than satisfied with a point in South Yorkshire - even at Barnsley.
Move on.

P.S. Blame me. I could have gone, and should have. My dulcet calming voice would have made all the difference....

One less game left to play, a point away from home, and Forest at home next week. I'm going to make a bold statement...we'll hit Forest for SIX. There, I've said it. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Missed opportunity, it happens to all clubs at different times during a season. No exemptions.
Strange thing is about 20 minutes in you can feel the 0-0 scoreline and its hard to change it.
The defenders grow in such games and defend for their lives.
Forwards feel it and snatch at chances.

If we are going to drop points to any team, I was pleased it was Barnsley.
