We lost that game due to the ref allowing a free kick to proceed whilst three Wolves players were trying to stop Lee Naylor getting hit by Mills on the touchline. Also, The linesman was on the pitch when the free kick was taken. Scandalous. Yeah, that goal was a total scandal and led to Rae getting a red at the end as he was so hyped. Wasn't there some form of scrap in the tunnel as well? I suppose goals like that show why savvy opposition players always stand a few yards in front of the ball while a freekick is being organised to stop a quick kick being taken.

Wolves need 6 more clean sheets to equal the record set in the 1982/83 season. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Favourite signing of 1978 Peter Daniel far more capable and smarter than given credit for.

Memories of Peter Daniel..Penalties and the pass in the FL cup final to Needham. Tony Morley breaking his leg at Molineux, in 1981, then Emlyn Hughes and Richie Barker carrying him from the touch line to the ambulance.
And then playing against us in the SVT final in 1988.

22 January 1927. The first live BBC radio commentary of a football match was broadcast, between Arsenal and Sheffield United, at Highbury. The Radio Times published a numbered grid which the commentator referred to so listeners could pinpoint where the ball was on the pitch.
