Apologies all.

Though pleased I got 5 points tonight, the second half of prediction was wrong.

But though the lads gave their all, you have to say that a side that doesn't manage a strike of any sort on target from the 5th to the 130th minute (or however many were added on at the end of each half) does not really deserve to go through to a final.

We have a young squad. Need to find the creative spark of a midfield (oh for Neves!) to get chances for the front guys. Kane needs help. Looked mentally exhausted tonight.

A fair appraisal Silver.

Kane already looked exhausted vs Sweden tbh (Surely his chance was after the 5th minute though?).

Interesting to see how we go on from here. "Success" doesn't have to mean more semi-finals as we were favoured by the draw and how the tournament developed to even get this far, but we do have to continue to play with an intent to win and not fall to pieces a la Iceland in future.

I think the fact that we won a penalty shootout during the competition was a massive psychological victory for Southgate and this group.

Spain as our next fixture will be a good signpost.

Just not quite good enough, which I think deep down, we all knew anyway.

But at least they've not disgraced themselves, which is a big improvement on the last couple of tournaments.

Just one thought if England continue to use Harry Kane like that he will end up like Kevin Doyle.

I thought England were very spirited and gave their all.

They think it's all over...………….IT IS NOW.

Latest table, Knocker needs just 2 points to secure the win.

Knocker Knowles...………………………………..96 points.
Gladbach………………………………………………..86.
Embers...……………………………………………….84.
Silverstone Wolf...………………………………..82.
Dances With Wolves...………………………...72.
Lanky Wolf...………………………………………..66.
Rozza…………………………………………………...55.

Two games to go, predictions to be in by kick off time of both games.

We had that for the taking, can't believe Kane missed that sitter, two bites at the cherry too. Don't understand why Southgate didn't bring on RLC for Alli, was clear we had lost control of the midfield second half. Their players there just far superior to ours in the middle of the park. Walker showed he isn't a CH again.

All in all though I thought we did very well with a poor group of players, Southgate did well to change style, mentality and the narrative, even if tactically I am not sure on him. Some folk say we had an easy run in, but France have only played Belgium. That said France would have hammered us in the final, would have been painful.

Had a great time in Nizhny, been a great tournament and hopefully we will see some talent emerge and the better players we have now have learnt something.

Congratulations KK - came up on the rails, and sailed away in the final furlong.

Thanks Gladbach for setting up and being so prompt with the up-to-date scoring.

Hopefully more will join in the Premier this season! PLEASE respond to Cally's request for any amendment to the rules, but can we all agree that HER DECISION IS FINAL - no appeal, no second referendum....?
