Just to make some of you feel old, he turns 40 today.
The man dominated golf for a decade, inspired the next generation, and changed the sport for ever.
No major since he was 32, and no chance of catching up with Jack, now, but what a life so far.

Yup, great golfer, it can't be denied, but at 40 he's a young man imho. That bit where his wife smashed his new car in with a golf club made me laugh.

I thought he would smash every record in the book, it just shows life's temptations can distract someone from immortality.

He was doing all that stuff and still winning everything going kk,that's how good he was.Bad injuries not the other stuff have stopped him.Was it the masters he won on one leg??
Lets hope there isn't a Lance Armstrong like story around the corner to blow his achievements out of the water though.

Today you may have witnessed history.
A man who lived his life in the spotlight, today won in the spotlight..no pressure.

One of the greatest sporting achievements and comebacks of all time.

In a sport where old white men rule he has fought many demons and obstacles to get where he is. Where he was is a non story now, fair play to him for battling those many hurdles.
I see both Serena and Barrack see him publicly as a hero on social meedja I wonder if he could channel those associations to aspire the youth who use a golf club as a weapon rather than a tool for success?

If people only knew the history of Augusta, from German POWs to only Black Caddies.

The owners through time have been some right sorts.

It was the US Open and he had to play 18 hole playoff against Rocco Mediate on the Monday after round 4. One of the great achievements in sports history, as was his comeback for the Masters this year.
